The fact that this study is being met with such hostility and ideological opposition is a clue to why the public school system is such a mess: our policies are being driven by secularized, unrealistic, humanistic, amoral, ideological assumptions instead of any sort of accurate understanding of the human condition, human nature, and the fundamentally moral aspect of all education.
